Jinhua Confucian Temple is located in the ancient city of Wuzhou, Jinhua City, Zhejiang Province, and is an important cultural site in Jinhua. The temple is located north of Bayong Tower, west of the Jiufang Lane ancient building complex, and east of the Old No. 6 Middle School parking lot. It is an important site for the continuation of Jinhua's thousand-year-old cultural heritage. The history of Jinhua Confucian Temple can be traced back to the early Song Dynasty, and it has undergone many changes and destructions. Due to the changes of the times, the temple disappeared from people's sight after the 1970s. In 2018, the original site of the temple was confirmed through archaeological excavations. On September 28, 2024, the reconstruction of Jinhua Confucian Temple was completed and opened to the public. The reconstructed temple complex includes the Pan Pond, Dacheng Gate, East and West Corridors, Dacheng Hall Square, Dacheng Hall, and Minglun Hall. The temple is not only a memory of history, but also a cultural heritage, and has become an important carrier for the inheritance of excellent traditional Chinese culture. The reconstruction of Jinhua Confucian Temple reflects Jinhua's respect for and inheritance of traditional culture, and demonstrates Jinhua's cultural confidence and openness.
