📍Itinerary Introduction
1. Zhouqiao Ruins Park: $98 is totally worth it. You can witness an important and precious large-scale archaeological excavation site with guided explanations. Feel the shock and wonder of Kaifeng's layered city.
2. Iron Pagoda: It doesn't look particularly special from afar, but up close it's incredibly beautiful and exquisite, made entirely of glazed bricks. It's eye-opening.
3. Qingming Riverside Landscape Garden: Modeled after the famous painting 'Along the River During the Qingming Festival,' it seems very interesting. There are many outstanding performances inside. I watched the iron flower show and Yue Fei's horseback performance, both of which were stunning and surprising. I highly recommend AI Ya Song, an unprecedented immersive performance. At first, I thought the actors were robots. I watched it twice and still found it fascinating.
4. Kaifeng Museum: A bit disappointing. Basically, Kaifeng's most precious artifacts, the 'Along the River During the Qingming Festival' painting and Zhao Ji's thin gold script, have all gone to Beijing. Kaifeng only has replicas. If you're short on time, you can skip it.
