Chasing a sunset at the end of the world in Western Australia truly moved me to tears in Kalbarri

Our last stop on the Western Australia North Line road trip was Kalbarri. Considering time and energy, we didn’t want to drive further north to Monkey Mia like special forces; instead, we stayed in Kalbarri to enjoy the town’s leisurely vacation vibe. The town is very small, life is slow, and every sunset is so beautiful that words can’t describe it!
.
Highly recommend! You must watch a sunset in Kalbarri!
.
📍Black Beach Sunrise Point (Although it’s called Sunrise Point, don’t doubt it! Come for the sunset!)
⏰ Arrive 1 hour before sunset (check the sunset time in advance)
🎫 Free
🚗 Right by the town center beach, drive to the parking lot and walk there

🌄
▪️ Black rocks and white wave marks form a natural canvas; at sunset, the entire sky and beach come with a champagne-colored filter!
▪️ Compared to other famous spots, there are basically no tourists here, only locals fishing
▪️ Red fault cliffs, dark green shrubs, white sand, and blue waves create a stunning color palette that leaves you speechless, took hundreds of photos😭

➊ There are large rocks in front of the viewing platform, safe to climb, really feels like the end of the world
❷ Bright clothes stand out better here, and the sea breeze helps create a natural flowing effect
❸ But after sunset, it gets very cold and windy, so a jacket and hat are a must!
.
After watching the sunset, you can head into town for dinner or go back to the hotel to cook~
The IGA at the town gas station has all kinds of ingredients to buy. If you stay at a motel, you can cook yourself, which is more cost-effective! Australian beef and milk are really cheap and delicious!
