Fun to ride! Fun to see! Fun to sightsee!
Let me introduce you to the charms of the Enoden!
The Enoden (Enoshima Electric Railway) is a local train that runs between Kamakura and Fujisawa, and there are many tourist spots along the line. The charm of the train is that you can take a leisurely trip while enjoying the atmosphere of the ancient capital and the spectacular seaside scenery.
The retro carriages and the Shonan sea that spreads out from the window are like a scene from a movie.
◆Charms of the Enoden
・Retro and cute carriages: The small carriages of the Enoden have a retro feel and a design that makes you feel nostalgic. The way it runs leisurely is nostalgic and lovely.
・Running along the Shonan sea: Especially in the section from Inamuragasaki to Shichirigahama, the sea spreads out right next to the train, and you can ride while feeling the refreshing sea breeze. On a clear day, you can even see Mt. Fuji!
◆If you're going to ride, make sure to check out this section!
Hasedera to Enoshima
Please try riding it as part of your sightseeing.
From Hasedera to Shichirigahama, the train passes close to residential areas, and as you approach Kamakura High School, the view suddenly opens up and you can see the ocean.
Just sitting on the station platform at Kamakura High School Station is soothing!
◆Photo spots
・Kamakura High School Station: A famous place known as the holy land of the anime "Slam Dunk". The combination of the train and the ocean seen over the railroad crossing is truly photogenic.
・Goryo Shrine: The Enoden train passes just on the other side of the torii gate. As you can see in the first photo, you can enjoy the scenery unique to the Enoden train!
◆If you get off along the way
