Kanazawa: The Perfect Solo Trip for the Spontaneous Traveler! 🌸

#summervacay
For my solo trip, I needed a destination that fit my spontaneous, "P-type" travel style – meaning minimal planning and easy navigation, especially since I have ADHD and struggle with long descriptions. That's why I picked Kanazawa, and it was an absolute win!

Getting There and Getting Around: Seamless Travel

To Kanazawa: I flew directly from Shanghai to Komatsu Airport. Getting to Kanazawa from there was a breeze! I just hopped on the airport express bus, which conveniently aligns with flight schedules, and it took me straight to Kanazawa Station. This station is a hub for everything – food, shopping, and all major transport connections, making for a truly stress-free arrival.

Exploring the City: Kanazawa itself is wonderfully compact. You can pretty much walk to any place you want to go within 30 minutes. For maximum spontaneity and ease, I highly recommend grabbing a one-day sightseeing bus pass. You can hop on and off whenever you like, which is perfect for just going with the flow!

Accommodation: Convenience is Key

I chose a hotel near Kanazawa Station. Traveling alone and with a hand injury, I didn't want to struggle with my luggage. Staying just a few hundred meters from the station meant I could get to my hotel quickly and easily, which was a huge relief.

Kanazawa truly delivered on being an ideal, no-fuss solo adventure!
