I'm going to share my experience of visiting the hidden gem of Kaohsiung, Taiwan, 五里亭 (Wu Li Ting) and the beautiful pond around it. Kaohsiung is a relatively quiet and charming city compared to Taipei, and on this trip, I had a special time enjoying leisure in nature!!

五里亭 (Wu Li Ting) is a pavilion located in a quiet area of ​​Kaohsiung, and it's a great place to enjoy the surrounding scenery in a quiet atmosphere. Built in traditional Chinese architectural style, this pavilion has a long history and is a resting place loved by locals. It was a great place to get away from the city and feel nature. The breeze blowing gently while sitting in the pavilion made me feel really good. 😆

There are large and small ponds around Wu Li Pavilion, which makes the scenery even more charming. The ponds were full of lotus flowers, and you could see carps floating leisurely on the water. As I walked around here, I felt my mind naturally relax~. In particular, the walking path around the pond was well-maintained, so I could walk leisurely and enjoy the nature. There were also benches here and there, so it was nice to sit down and rest for a while. It was also a really good place to take pictures!!!

Kaohsiung is a bustling city, but there are many quiet and beautiful places like this, which makes traveling there even more fun. If you are planning a trip to Taiwan, why not take a healing time at 五里亭 and the surrounding ponds?🫠
