Magical Chinese-style Architecture: The Spring and Autumn Pavilion at Kaohsiung Lotus Pond

Visiting Kaohsiung? You can't miss Zuoying, a great place for worship and a chance to appreciate local culture. Highly recommended for those interested!

The night view here is stunning. Take a leisurely stroll around Lotus Pond Park. Start with the Dragon and Tiger Pagodas, then walk along the park to reach the Spring and Autumn Pavilion. Keep going, and you'll arrive at the Yuan Emperor Temple. The entire walk takes about 30 minutes.

Unfortunately, I arrived in Zuoying around 6 PM, so these three famous landmarks were already closed. However, this doesn't affect taking photos outside; you just can't enter the halls. If you want to explore inside, it's best to arrive earlier.

The Yuan Emperor Temple is the exception—it stays open into the evening, allowing you to enter, light incense, and take photos.

Along the way, you'll see many locals exercising, jogging, or walking. I was exhausted halfway through the walk.

Across the street, there are also many different temples. If you're interested, you can visit them for worship as well.
