Kaohsiung Travel

A 4-day, 3-night trip to Kaohsiung, where I enjoyed both the city's vibrant energy and the tranquility of nature 🧳✨

On the first day, I arrived at Kaohsiung Airport and took the MRT to the city center 🚇. After checking in, I headed straight to the Liuhe Night Market 🌃. Among the various street foods, the shaved ice with red beans and fried squid were absolutely delicious 😋.

The highlight of the trip was on the second day—a snorkeling tour at Xiaoliuqiu! 🐢🌊 After about an hour's boat ride from Kaohsiung Harbor, I arrived at Xiaoliuqiu, a paradise-like island with crystal-clear waters 🏝️. As soon as I put on my snorkeling gear and entered the water, I was greeted by the sight of turtles gracefully swimming beneath the surface 🐢💙.

Making eye contact and swimming alongside them was truly a moving experience. On the third day, I leisurely explored the Pier-2 Art Center and Lotus Pond Scenic Area, soaking in Kaohsiung's culture and charm 🎨📸. On the final day, I shopped for snacks at a local market before heading to the airport at a relaxed pace.

Though short, the 4-day, 3-night trip was deeply memorable, especially the Xiaoliuqiu waters with the turtles, which still linger vividly in my mind 🌺. If I visit Kaohsiung again, I think I would follow this exact itinerary once more! 💛
