Karuizawa 1-Night, 2-Day Trip: A Stay at Prince Hotel West

I spent a weekend at the Karuizawa Prince Hotel West!

Nestled within a vast expanse of greenery, this hotel offers a true sense of Karuizawa's openness and resort-like atmosphere. The rooms are simple yet cozy, with a warm wooden design that makes you feel at home. The view from the window is refreshing, providing a relaxing ambiance.

After checking in, I headed to the "Karuizawa Prince Shopping Plaza," located right in front of the hotel. This massive outlet mall features a wide range of domestic and international brands, outdoor gear, miscellaneous goods, and sweets—so much so that there’s never enough time to explore it all! Seasonal events and a lawn area add to the charm, making it a perfect blend of shopping and leisure.

In the evening, I moved to the Hoshino area to visit "Hoshino Onsen Tombo-no-Yu" ♨️. This natural hot spring, known for its skin-beautifying properties, offers spacious indoor and open-air baths. The soothing warmth of the baths gradually melted away my travel fatigue. Surrounded by towering trees, the open-air bath provided a luxurious, out-of-the-ordinary experience, enhanced by Karuizawa's crisp, clean air.

The next day, I enjoyed more shopping at the outlet before checking out. Despite being just a 1-night, 2-day trip, it felt like a condensed experience of Karuizawa's best offerings: shopping, hot springs, and a resort stay. With its convenient access, the Karuizawa Prince Hotel West is an ideal spot for a quick and refreshing getaway✨.
