Shiraito Falls – น้ำตกเส้นด้ายสีขาวแห่งคารุอิซาวะ

Karuizawa is another city not far from Tokyo 🚄. It's a great winter destination, with skiing ⛷️, white snow ☃️, and a large shopping outlet 🛍️. I've already reviewed this winter destination a while back, so this time I'm going to add another must-see natural highlight!

This waterfall is charming because the water doesn't fall from a high cliff, but slowly seeps out from hundreds of layers of rock, resembling white threads (hence the name).

Actually, if you reach the waterfall and are at the lower level, you can still take photos, but if you're more adventurous, You can continue on a 10-kilometer hiking trail 🚶♂️⛰️ through the beautiful forest.

🚉 How to get there: From Karuizawa Station

From Karuizawa Station, take the Seibu Kogen Line bus (Kusatsu Onsen Line) for about 25 minutes → get off at the Shiraito no Taki stop, then walk for just 5 minutes to the falls.
