🏩Accommodation: Stay near the West or South Gate for convenience, with hotels and dining options clustered nearby—just a short walk to the old town.
🗺️Routes:
1️⃣East Route: East Gate Entrance (Opening Ceremony: 10:30/12:00/18:00) → Nashiman B&B → Jiulongquan Inn → Dunmaisiti Mosque (demolished) → Huamao Bazaar·Bayi’s Rooftop Garden → Corner Café → Hanbazaar Food Street. Exit Hanbazaar, cross the street to Id Kah Mosque, then follow the road beside it to the West District.
2️⃣West Route: Id Kah Mosque → Oil Painting Street → Century-Old Tea House → Tahalane Photography Street → Grandpa’s Grandpa’s Father’s Naan → Rainbow Alley & Cloth Bag Alley → Kashgar Old City Wall.
🥙Food Highlights:
✅East District: Grandpa Abdu’s Old Town Lamb Soup (try the lamb soup and thin-skinned buns).
✅West District: Grandpa’s Grandpa’s Father’s Naan—a viral spot with freshly baked naan in various flavors.
🌈Transport:
✅No cars inside the old town, but sightseeing carts are available.
✅Buses outside the old town go directly to the train station and airport.
✅Free shuttles from the East Gate to Xiangfei Garden, or take a bus/taxi (approx. ¥12–13).
✅Buses from Hanbazaar East Exit go to the museum, or take a taxi (approx. ¥10).
