On is a Japanese sweets and tea shop located in an old Kyoto townhouse.

The shop is small, with only two tables and six counter seats at the front and back, so it tends to fill up even on weekdays, but if you are alone, you may be able to be seated. It is generally best to make a reservation before visiting.

I ordered two types of daifuku and matcha 🍵
The matcha was carefully prepared one by one. It is a very good shop where you can enjoy matcha and Japanese sweets while looking out at the courtyard.
