Heping Island, Keelung City, relaxed atmosphere

The first Taiwan trip in early September 2024, I left Taipei to visit the famous Keelung City, a must-visit tourist spot for everyone. During my walk, I had the opportunity to stop by Heping Geopark Island.

Heping Geopark is located by the sea and is beautiful. The day I went, the weather was good and the sky was clear. I took pictures of the beautiful color of the sea. There are many strangely shaped rocks on the island, which were formed by sea erosion. At the viewpoint, there is a small pavilion where you can stand and enjoy a panoramic view of the sea. It is beautiful.

For those who like to walk, you can walk around along the provided walkway. The weather may be a bit hot, but it is worth it. The last point is a pool made for swimming. This area is blocked by seawater. Taiwanese people often bring their families to play in the water and do activities here, especially when the weather is hot.
