The headwater forest of Ban Nam Rat, boating is fun, playing in the water is refreshing.

I went boating in the middle of the upstream forest of Ban Nam Rat, located in Surat Thani, just 30 minutes from Ratchaprapa Dam. You can plan to have the boat trip on the same day as the dam boat trip. This place is divided into 2 zones: the boating zone, which will take about 30 minutes to row back and forth along the same route, depending on your rowing skill. However, if you don’t want to row and want to sit comfortably, there will be staff to row the boat for you. It should be 50 baht, I’m not sure. We didn’t use the service. The other zone is for playing in the water. **The water playing zone is very crowded. Even though we went on a weekday around 11.30, it was already full of people. If you want nice pictures without people in them, you have to come as early as 9. As for boating, there are very few people, very chill. **Costs: 20 baht for parking and 70 baht for admission including boating and water playing. **You are not allowed to bring anything in, except for a small wallet, car keys, baby bottles, and a change of clothes (you must carry your clothes, you can’t put them in a bag). Children wearing diapers are also not allowed. **#VisitSuratThani #VisitSuratThani #SuratThani #BanNamRatUpstreamForest #BanNamRatUpstreamForest #Cheow Lan Dam #VisitSouth
