When it comes to castles in Fukuoka, Kokura Castle is the place to visit.
I stopped by during my trip to Fukuoka.

The castle is illuminated at night, and its reflection in the moat
makes it even more beautiful and very captivating.

Located about a 10-minute walk from Kokura Station,
I enjoyed the fresh and fun sight of modern buildings coexisting with the castle.

From the end of October to early November,
the area around Kokura Castle is beautifully decorated
with bamboo lights during the Bamboo Light Festival.
