Kyushu Railway History Museum

The Kyushu Railway History Museum, located in Kitakyushu City, Fukuoka Prefecture, is a museum dedicated to showcasing the development of railways in the Kyushu region. The museum features ancient steam locomotives, various railway vehicles, model trains, and railway-related equipment, providing insights into how railways have influenced regional economic and social development.

The museum includes several interactive zones, with the "Train Driving Simulator" being the most popular. Here, visitors can experience driving a train. The section displaying steam locomotives from the late 19th to early 20th century is particularly impressive.
