JR Kokura Station Hotel

This was my second stay at JR Hotel Kokura, and I was once again impressed by its convenience and comfort. Located directly above Kokura Station, the hotel is easily accessible by Shinkansen, conventional JR lines, and even highway buses. The hotel is directly accessible from the station platform, making it a pleasant escape even in the rain.

The surrounding area is bustling, with department stores and shopping malls just a few minutes' walk away, offering a wide range of shopping and dining options. The nearby MUJI Kokura store is considered one of the most comprehensive in Kyushu, offering everything from daily necessities to stationery and clothing. A visit there is highly recommended.

While the room wasn't brand new, it was well-maintained and clean, and the attention to detail was evident upon arrival. The quality of the towels and amenities was particularly impressive. Despite being located above the station, the hotel is remarkably quiet, with no sound from the trains, making it a comfortable retreat for families.
