Koh Kood, Trat, is really good ✨

Hideout Kohkood 🏖️🌊🌳

👋🏻Goodbye Koh Kood, 5 days, 4 nights.
This trip was a very long drive for us.
Bangkok-Trat wasn't really that long, but we stopped at every place, from Pattaya to cafes, restaurants, and hotels.

🌧️When we arrived in Trat, it was pouring rain from the moment we checked in.
The night before, we took the boat across to the island. I prayed,
"Don't let it rain tomorrow," lol. But when I woke up this morning, it was really, really raining.

But I talked to Pete and said, "It's okay. We want to travel to the beach during the rainy season. We want to understand nature in its own season."

Once I opened my heart, I was happy. It rained, and the two of us were happy.

🌳Arriving at the hotel was a rough ride, but I wasn't tired anymore.
Because the hotel was beautiful, the service was excellent, and there was a welcome drink.
Waiting to be served helped with my motion sickness.
This was probably the first time I realized why I travel so much.
This is so difficult 😂 Normally, if you were to travel like this,
I definitely wouldn't come. It needs to be the most comfortable, the most 5-star experience.
I'm tired of having to take a bus and a boat, a rigorous ride like this.

🚢 - Because from Bangkok to Trat, it's 5 hours (not including the one-day stopover).
- From the first night's accommodation to the pier, it's 30 minutes.
- From the ferry parking lot to the ferry boarding, it's also 5 minutes.
- The boat ride is 1 hour long, even though the reviews say this type of boat ride
"The Express Company won't make you dizzy," but nope. We were completely dizzy.
But only on the way there. On the way back, Pete
took us to sit in first class because he said he wouldn't be dizzy. Well...he really wasn't.
- Arriving at Koh Kood, we docked at the pier, and the hotel car picked us up.
The ride was a very long 40-minute ride.

⛅️ This torture disappeared once we arrived at the hotel.
The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are very nice. We missed the Villa reservation.
I was a little disappointed, but I got a beachfront room.
It was so relaxing. I could sit and look at the sea from the room.
At night, I could hear the sound of the waves crashing against the shore.
There were rainy days, and the sky cleared for photos, swimming, and a relaxing walk.
In the evening, I went to chill out at Hideout Bar. It was so good!
I didn't rent a motorbike because I didn't know how to get around.
I didn't want to ride, or ride a motorcycle, or do anything.
If I wanted to go somewhere, I contacted a local rental car company to take me there.

That's all for my heartfelt story. I'm not asking for a review.
"Koh Kood is nice," he said. He wasn't that mean to me.
Once I understood nature, traveling became more fun.
I didn't worry about getting wet or looking good. I came to truly relax at a place I could enjoy.
