Daily trip to the Tigers cave šŸ…

Our visit to the Tiger Cave Temple was a memorable experience, though quite physically demanding. The weather was very hot, and there’s no public transportation to the site — you’ll need to take a taxi or book a Grab to get there.

Before the main climb, we explored the smaller caves at the base, which were interesting and a nice warm-up. The real challenge, however, was the 1,260 steps leading up to the top of the mountain. It’s a tough climb, especially in the heat, so bring plenty of water with you. There’s no drinking water at the top — just a low-pressure filtered source that’s warm and not very trustworthy.

Monkeys are everywhere along the stairs. They can be aggressive, especially if they see food or feel threatened, so don’t feed or try to interact with them. Even direct eye contact can provoke them.

Despite the heat and effort, the view from the top was absolutely worth it — breathtaking and peaceful. It’s definitely a rewarding experience if you’re up for the climb!
