Hin Ta Hin Yai
Address - Koh Samui, near Lamai Beach, Koh Samui District, Surat Thani Province
Atmosphere/Location - These are small and large rocks that are naturally formed. You have to walk to the entrance. You can park your car at the local car park, such as motorcycle parking for 10 baht. At the entrance, there are souvenir shops of the locals. Kalamae is a specialty in this area. When you enter the area, on the right, you will see Hin Ta standing prominently in the middle. As for Hin Yai, there are several spots. It is a groove of rocks that has been eroded by water.
In the middle of the sea, there are 2 rock formations that have emerged. They are three-layered. This is because during high and low tides, the rocks at the bottom are black, while the middle is white. The top layer is a natural brown rock. In the middle, there is a small sandy beach and a shrine to the grandparents. At this point, there are trees to block the sun for sitting and relaxing. The sea is beautiful, the water is clear, the air is fresh and the wind is cool. Another spot is a natural pool. When the tide is high, this spot is full of water. When the tide is low, it is a beautiful pool with clear water. You can go down and take pictures of the rocks.
Average price per person - No charge There is only a parking fee.
Open from 08.30-18.30 hrs.
Advice - When walking down the wet rocks, be careful of slipping. Bring an umbrella and water because the sun is very strong.
