Those who have flown out from Koh Samui will tell you how unusual their airport is. Other than the waiting areas at the boarding gates, everything else feels like a mall in a holiday resort sprawled mainly outdoors.

Their alternative waiting areas are outdoors too! Lounge chairs under beach huts. Clearly, there are people who haven’t gotten enough of the sun and want to soak in some final rays before getting on a cold plane.
