Chaweng Beach Resort with a shady atmosphere

Chaweng Regent Beach Resort is one of the first 4-star resorts on Koh Samui that has been on Chaweng Beach for decades. However, it is still well-maintained and not too old. It has complete facilities at a reasonable price.

➡️ Rooms

The rooms here are both rooms in the main building and villas. We chose the Premier Room type, which is located on the 1st-2nd floors of the building. This room is 50 square meters in size and has a garden view. Although you can't see the sea, the garden here is beautifully decorated and very shady. There is a balcony where you can sit and enjoy the garden. It's another way to relax. The highlight of this room type is that the bathroom has a large Jacuzzi. The ceiling of the bathtub is made of frosted glass, allowing sunlight to shine through. It's a little sexy.

➡️ Breakfast

The restaurant here serves both breakfast and is also open as a restaurant and cafe for other meals. What I like the most is that the restaurant is right in front of the beach. The front is open and has a beautiful, wide sea view as far as the eye can see. When you look to the other side, you can see the swimming pool. The atmosphere is really good. Breakfast here is varied, with both Thai and Western food, as well as desserts and cakes. Rotating every day, not monotonous.

➡️ Surrounding area

Around the resort, there are many large trees planted, divided into zones according to the accommodation building, with clear signs and a wooden walkway for easy walking. There is a fish pond with colorful carps swimming back and forth. The swimming pool here is also large. Children had fun playing in the water. The beach in front of the resort when I went was during the high season, not the monsoon season. The water was calm and shallow. You can take children to play, it's not scary.
