Big Long Island getaway

Ko Yao Yai, or "Big Long Island," is a 30-kilometer-long island in the middle of Phang Nga Bay that is halfway between Phuket and Krabi. Despite being only a 25-minute speedboat ride from Phuket's east coast, this long, narrow island surrounded by dense mangroves and white-sand beaches has managed to escape becoming another overcrowded island resort.
