Today's theme city is "Kota Kinabalu", also known as Kota Kinabalu, the capital of Sabah, Malaysia.

The outdoor pool at the Marriott is nice! The breakfast at the Holiday Inn is delicious.

Itinerary:
DAY0: Arrive in Kota Kinabalu by plane, you can take a simple stroll, no need to go to the attractions.
DAY1: Mermaid Island + Kawa Mangrove (group tour)
You need to take a car for about 2 hours to the pier, and then take a 40-minute boat to Mermaid Island, but Mermaid Island is really beautiful! Remember to bring seasickness medicine and have breakfast when you go to sea.
Mangroves and Mermaid Island can be arranged in one trip. Mangroves are mainly for watching proboscis monkeys and fireflies on the boat. The fireflies are really amazing. It was the first time I saw so many fireflies, like stars in the sky.
DAY2: University of Sabah - Pink Mosque - University of Sabah Beach - Water Mosque - Tanjung Aru Beach - Gaya Street
University of Sabah ticket 10rm/person: The pink mosque is inside the University of Sabah, and the photos are super beautiful! We took a taxi here on Grab. You can also charter a car tour at the entrance (80RM/2 hours) to check in at several attractions of the University of Sabah.
Water Mosque is 5rm/person for taking photos outside, and 10rm/person for going inside. We just took photos outside and didn't go inside!
Tanjung Aru Beach depends entirely on the weather of the day. Even if it is sunny during the day, you may not be able to see the sunset at night. You can check the weather at around 5 o'clock to see if it is sunny and judge whether there is a sunset.
The sand on the beach is really fine! It's super comfortable to wade in the water!
DAY3: Mamudi Island - Manukan Island - Suria Sabah - Gaya Street
Mamudi Island and Manukan Island are very close to the city, a ten-minute drive to the pier, and then a ten-minute boat ride to Mamudi Island. You can play jet skiing, parasailing, diving, etc. on the island!
