The famous village is located near the Kota Kinabalu Natural Park. Buses do not go here, so for an independent visit you need to either hire a taxi or book a tour at a tour desk in the state capital of Sabah.
Monsopiad Cultural Village is located near the capital Sabah. This is a small settlement, which is a private property, in which an atmosphere reigns, recreated by the descendants of the legendary tribe to attract tourists.
In honor of the arrival of the tour group, they arrange a real enchanting holiday with dances and chants that clearly show the history of these places. The guests are escorted to a hut, under the ceiling of which there are 42 skulls of people allegedly killed by the famous Monsopiad. Whether they are real or not, there is no way to know. But the remains look very colorful and naturalistic.
