Don't Miss When in Krabi:

📍Khao Thong Hill

This was my favorite spot during my entire stay in Krabi.

A cozy cliffside cafe and restaurant with a sea view.

The view is stunning, absolutely breathtaking!

Dinner here will give you a breathtaking view of the sunset. It's so romantic!

⏰ Opening Hours: 11:00 AM - 8:00 PM
We recommend arriving around 4:00 PM to enjoy coffee and relax. Dinner starts at 5:30 PM. Arrive early to get a table on the terrace (photo 3). Otherwise, you'll have to wait in line and wait until sunset. There's a minimum charge for a table on the terrace, which seems to be 1,500 yen for 2-3 people. We were so busy taking photos that we didn't get any seats 😭 I recommend the Thai food. The Western food is pretty average.

🍽️ About the Restaurant: The restaurant is located on a mountainside. You'll need to take the shuttle bus (Photo 7) up (about a 5-minute ride). Buy a ticket at the entrance for 60 yen (round trip). Don't lose it; it's worth the 30 yen discount on afternoon tea or food.

🚗 About the trip
✅ Taxi: It's about a 30-minute taxi ride from Ao Nang, but I'm not sure if you can get one because it's so late.
✅ Car rental: I've seen other places offering round-trip rentals for 900 yen. 🐷 Check them out.
✅ Motorbike: I don't recommend it because it's already dark when you get down from the mountain. The roads are clear and there are few street lights. We drove very slowly, taking almost an hour, which wasn't very safe.
