The Jamek Mosque is one of the oldest mosques of Kuala Lumpur. Oldest mosque but no less beautiful. They have volunteers who can give an insight into the mosque and Islam in Malaysia. *Impressive heritage building, easily accessible and friendly staff* There is no entry fee for any visitors. You can make small donation at the entrance for putting a flag on the country from where you come from. This is easily accessible by public conveyance and close to other places of touristic interest such as Dataran Mardeka, river of life etc. Well worth a visit.
