In Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, should I climb the Petronas Tower or the KL Tower?

We chose the KL Tower to take photos of the Petronas Twin Towers from above. Malaysia's most famous tourist attraction is undoubtedly the iconic Petronas Twin Towers. These 88-story twin skyscrapers, standing at 451.9 meters tall, were the tallest buildings in the world from 1998 to 2003 until Taipei 101 was completed in 2004. The Petronas Towers are the world's tallest twin skyscrapers and were once the tallest building in Malaysia until The Exchange 106 surpassed them in 2019. However, the Petronas Towers remain a prominent landmark in Kuala Lumpur, along with Kuala Lumpur Tower and Merdeka 118, and can be seen from many locations throughout the city.

The KL Tower itself is the tallest telecommunications tower in Southeast Asia and the 7th tallest in the world! The total height, including the antenna, is 421 meters. It was built to enhance the quality of transportation, communications, and signal clarity in Malaysia.
