2D2N weekend trip in Kuala Lumpur

Feeling bored of working in the weekdays and want to find a perfect weekend getaway? Kuala Lumpur is the perfect place to go for a weekend of fun, shopping, food, and relaxation with friends, family, and loved ones.

Here are a few spots in KL that I found worthy of a visit (including Instagram worthy shots):

📍KLCC (picture 1) - The tallest twin towers in the world, and once the tallest building in the world is a perfect place for luxury shopping and relaxation outside at the KLCC park where you can view the twin towers at its might.

📍Thean Hou Temple (pictures 2-4) - A large temple near the city center where people can visit to admire the fascinating architecture and learn about the culture and religion. It even has a nice view of the city skyline

📍REXKL (picture 5) - An Instagram worthy place where book lovers can shop for books in a huge bookshop, and travellers can take street shots outside. There are also cafes in the area for coffee lovers to sip some high tea and coffee.

📍Petaling Street (picture 6) - next to REXKL, a street market where you can buy cheap goods and good street food such as mochi and soy milk is a good-to-visit if you are interested in purchasing cheap goods. The tallest building in Southeast Asia, Merdeka 118 (picture 7) is nearby as well.

📍Sunway Velocity (picture 8) - If you want to do more shopping, be sure to visit Sunway Velocity to find more interesting shops, and even an indoor trampoline park and adventure park!

📍Little Salty Cafe (picture 9) - Enjoy a romantic dinner at Little Salty Cafe with a panoramic view of the whole KL city skyline. Reserve your seat early on their website to get an outdoor seat to view the sunset if possible, else a night-time dinner is great too.

😋Be sure to eat other delicacies such as roasted pork, claypot rice, and wonton mee if you are in KL.

✈️ Transport to KL:
By plane: to KLCC, quite an efficient airport and within an hour from the city by train.
By bus: to Berjayah Time Square or KL Sentral.
By train: to KL Sentral.
