Bartolo Bakehouse at Central Market, Perfect for Hanging Out

Bartolo Lisboa Bakehouse at Central Market is such a cosy little spot, perfect for hanging out with family or friends. It’s located on the mezzanine floor of the Annexe building, and the vibe is super chill with warm lighting, rustic walls, and colourful Portuguese-style tiles that give it a nice European touch.

I dropped by recently and tried their famous Portuguese egg tart — seriously one of the best I’ve had. The crust was perfectly flaky and buttery, and the custard filling was creamy with just a hint of cinnamon. So good! I also had their strawberry matcha latte, which looked amazing and tasted just as good. The mix of earthy matcha with sweet strawberry was refreshing and not too heavy.

I think this is a great spot to chill and enjoy some good treats.
