Portofino in Kuala Lumpur gives off that comforting, homey feel from the moment you walk in. Hidden away in Bangsar and The Sphere, it’s a cozy, welcoming place that works great for an easygoing dinner.

Everything I tried was packed with flavor. The only miss for me was the eggplant parmigiana—it strayed a bit from the classic version, though not in a deal-breaking way.

With the warm service and relaxed atmosphere, it’s definitely somewhere I’d consider revisiting.
