Dropped by Botanica Deli in Bangsar South for lunch and instantly loved the vibe. It feels like an urban greenhouse—plenty of sunlight, lush greenery hanging above, and a calm, open space that invites you to slow down and enjoy your meal.

I had the prawn and crab sandwich, and it was packed with juicy seafood tossed in a creamy dill mayo, all stacked between slices of fresh sourdough. Simple but so satisfying. Also tried the spicy tuna salad, which had bold, punchy flavors—perfectly balanced with greens and a zesty Asian-style dressing.

There’s also a DIY salad bar where you can customize everything—greens, proteins, carbs, toppings. But honestly, the chef-crafted options just hit better in terms of flavor. The soups were another highlight—had the pumpkin and lotus root, and both were hearty and fresh.

Couldn’t resist dessert. The banana bread and carrot cake were moist and comforting, just sweet enough without being over the top. Loved that homemade feel.
