Shuangqiaogou ~ A Hidden Gem for Maple Viewing in Liaodong

As soon as autumn arrives, I want to immerse myself in nature! Kuandian, a hidden treasure town in Liaodong, is the perfect place to enjoy the maple leaves. Although we missed the peak of the red leaves, the scattered maples along the way paired with the babbling streams created an amazing photo atmosphere 🍁

Depart from downtown Dandong at 8 AM and drive 1.5 hours to reach this secret spot surrounded by maple forests. Here you can find rare northern canyon stream landscapes, and while strolling along the forest paths, you might even encounter wild squirrels!

📍 Yanghugou
After leaving Tianqiaogou, continue north and you will pass through the mountain road of Yanghugou. In late autumn, the trees on both sides of the road are dyed in layers of color, making every snapshot look like a masterpiece. Remember to stop briefly at the viewing platform to enjoy the stunning autumn scenery in the mountains.

📍 Maple Avenue
The road connecting Yanghugou to Benxi is affectionately called "Maple Avenue" by locals. Although it’s not the best viewing period, the maple trees along the valley, set against the blue sky, are still breathtakingly beautiful.
