Kuching is the capital of the East Malaysian state of Sarawak. Being the most populous city in the state of Sarawak (over 600.000 inhabitants), Kuching emerged as one of the most vibrant cities in the region and it is the largest city on the island of Borneo and the fourth largest city in Malaysia.
Considered to be quite a famous place among the tribal communities, Kuching is known for its Chinese population. Because of this, the place has a wide number of Chinese buildings and worship places. One among them is the Tua Pek Kong Chinese Temple which holds much importance among the locals.
