First visit to Kumamoto

This was a visit without any prior research, but

When it comes to Kumamoto, you can't miss Kumamoto Castle!

So we went to Kumamoto Castle!

📍 1-1 Honmaru, Chuo-ku, Kumamoto City, Kumamoto Prefecture

Part of Kumamoto Castle collapsed in the 2016 Kumamoto earthquake,

but it seems to have been restored quite a bit.

You can enter the castle tower, and the view from the top was amazing.

You can tour the inside of the castle, which has 6 floors and some very impressive exhibits.

There is also an elevator for those who find the stairs difficult.
