[Kumamoto Izumi Shrine]

#DomesticTravelRecord

A shrine in Suizenji Jojuen Garden in Chuo Ward, Kumamoto City, dedicated to the successive feudal lords of the Hosokawa clan and Gracia (wife of Lord Tadaoki)

In 1877 (Meiji 10), the former Hosokawa clan samurai built the shrine in Suizenji Jojuen Garden, which has a deep connection to the Hosokawa clan, in the grounds that had been burned down during the Seinan War, to enshrine the spirits of the feudal lords, to calm people's minds, and to lead to the development of the town.

One of the attractions is being able to worship while admiring the beautiful garden.

It is said to bring good luck such as good health, prosperity in business, and academic success.

Adults can enter Suizenji Jojuen Garden after paying the admission fee of 400 yen (16 years old and over).
