When you see Kumamon, you instantly know you’re in Kumamoto! 🤣 This world-famous bear mascot has his very own stage at Kumamon Square, and it’s an experience that’s as quirky as it is heartwarming.

I went for the 2 PM show, and the place was absolutely packed — families with kids, couples, and even curious travelers like us who didn’t fully understand Japanese but still had a blast! 🎶 The performance lasted about half an hour, filled with dancing, humor, and plenty of Kumamon charm.

🌟 Even as adults without kids, we found the show surprisingly entertaining — Kumamon’s antics have a universal charm that transcends language. Watching locals and tourists alike laugh and clap along made the atmosphere even more joyful.
