Misty rain kneads the dreams of Jiangnan, Zhaoye hides half a lifetime of my tenderness

With my child, we plunged into this poetic misty rain, embarking on a spontaneous Jiangnan journey 🌱. Under the drizzling haze, we set off by car 🚗, an easy drive of less than an hour.

🏡 The pre-booked Zhaoye Homestay was a delightful surprise!
The hostess was incredibly warm and thoughtful, waiting for us early at the Fuguiyuan parking lot (free) 🚗.
This place is both a homestay and a café—the moment we stepped in, we were struck by its elegant style, minimalist yet nostalgic with artistic charm!
Our room, "Weichi," had a huge green lake-view window 🪟. As the misty rain blurred the scenery, we watched small boats glide leisurely through the water town. The interior decor merged seamlessly with the outdoor views, and my daughter excitedly watched by the window for ages~ 😁

The lounge and dining area on the first floor were filled with artistic flair in every corner 🎨—the owner's taste is impeccable!
Knowing we had a child, the hostess immediately brought kids' slippers and toiletries 👶, even carefully confirming our breakfast time for the next day 🥪. The breakfast was so lavish it left us bursting with happiness!!!
