About a 5-minute walk from JR Kure Station. The Yamato Museum is a museum dedicated to the battleship Yamato, where you can experience the history of Kure as a naval port and the greatness of the Yamato.

There is also a Maritime Self-Defense Force museum nearby, which you can visit for free if you line up early and aim for the right time.
