Seeing Snow in 30°C Summer

Driving the Duku Highway is a must in this lifetime, and it’s truly worth it. Starting from over 30 degrees Celsius at the foot of the mountain to -4 degrees at the summit, the entire journey offers spectacular scenery: snow-capped mountains, fir forests, alpine meadows, and waterfalls formed by glacier meltwater. The beautiful views are truly overwhelming.
Hashilegendaban Pass is the highest point along the route, where you can get up close to the snow mountains and even touch the unmelted snow. The entire service area is located at the foot of the snow mountain, allowing you to stop and fully experience it.
Friendly reminder: The snow mountain section of the Duku Highway is very cold, so remember to bring a thick jacket~
