Kifune Shrine, Again

I keep posting about the same place💦

It can't be helped, as there are so many things to see☺️

Kifune Shrine is divided into three parts: the main shrine, the Yuisha shrine, and the inner shrine. The first and second pictures are the main shrine, and the third is the inner shrine.

The famous "Kifune Momiji Lantern" is in the main shrine. It is the approach to the main shrine.

The third picture is the inner shrine, which is about 700m up the Kifune River from the main shrine. This used to be the main shrine.

Access: Take the Karasuma subway line to Kokusaikaikan Station, then take the Kyoto bus from the Kokusaikaikan Station bus stop to Kifuneguchi, then take the Kyoto bus from Kifuneguchi Station, which is a 1-minute walk away, to Kifune, then walk 5 minutes
