Kyoto: 1200 years of history! World Heritage Site: Kiyomizu-dera Temple

I went to Kiyomizu-dera Temple in Kyoto for the first time since I was in high school.

It's been 20 years!? Lol

Kyoto Kiyomizu-dera Temple since I went there on a high school field trip

I really didn't feel anything back then,
and I walked around thinking about how I wanted to go home quickly,
but now it's different❗️

Kiyomizu-dera is the best

This is what they mean when they say it's charming!

It's a historic temple with a history of about 1200 years,
and is registered as a World Heritage Site

It's a cliche, but it's amazing that this building existed 1200 years ago

It's a wonderful building

The highlights are

✅The Niomon Gate at the entrance
✅The main hall, known as the stage of Kiyomizu
✅The three-story pagoda
✅Amidado
✅Otowa Falls

There's a lot to see!

When I visited, the so-called Kiyomizu-dera stage was under renovation.

I'd like to visit again when it's completed.

Just walking around the whole place made me feel like I'm a Kyoto expert lol
