Kiyomizu Temple, a must-see attraction in Kyoto, Japan

Compared to Tokyo and Osaka, I prefer Kyoto🤍🇯🇵
The pace of life in Kyoto is not as fast as in big cities,
very comfortable and suitable for me😌

When you come to Kyoto, the Kiyomizu Temple area is one of the must-see attractions☺️
Many tourists will definitely experience kimono/yukata when they come👘
We are no exception~😛

We made an online reservation for the kimono experience of "Rika Kimono"~
There is still a little time left before the reservation time,
so we went to a nearby cafe for breakfast😌

The cafe is mainly white and wood, very simple and durable🤍
But there are only benches and a few small tables in the store, which is a bit inconvenient to eat~🥺
And there is only one kind of food sold here, which is donut! 🍩💖
We ordered strawberry and matcha donuts, as well as hot latte~
The donut is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, and topped with cream, it’s not too sweet, and it’s delicious! 😋

👘Rika Kimono Kiyomizudera Store

We arrived at the appointed time, but still had to wait for half an hour before we could start choosing kimono accessories, wearing kimonos, and getting our hair done~
This store has a lot of kimonos to choose from, and the hairstyles are great! 👍🏻
It was just that the waiting time was too long～🥺

After changing into kimonos, we went around and walked around～💕
It was winter, so I was glad that the weather was not too cold that day!

I really like this place.
Every street and alley is quaint and full of flavor~😍
There are so many check-in spots and souvenir shops here𥚃.
We walked around until lunch time before we had lunch🫣

🍴Higetsuan Kyoto Roast

This restaurant serves kaiseki cuisine~😆
The restaurant is decorated in a very Japanese style and the space is quite large, but we had to wait for a while before we could be seated🫣
We ordered different set meals, which were very rich🤩
The food tasted good, very special!

After lunch, we continued to take photos and walk around~
There are many slopes here, and it’s a bit tiring to walk in wooden shoes😅
And even on weekdays, it’s very lively here,
There are people everywhere~😂

When it was close to dusk, we returned the kimono and left~😌

The area around Kiyomizu Temple is really crowded 365 days a year~
But it’s really worth coming to experience the ancient culture of Kyoto🇯🇵💕
