The newly renovated Kyoto Station is now even better for shopping and sightseeing!

"Kyoto Porta" in the Kyoto Station underground shopping mall
"ASTYSQUARE" inside the station
"KYOTO TOWER SANDO" inside Kyoto Tower, across from the station

The extensive renovations have added many new shops.

Tonight, we went to see the Kyoto Station Grand Staircase Illumination Show 🎎
​​The staircase has 125 steps and is decorated with approximately 15,000 LED lights. The show is themed around Kyoto's four seasons. Different performances will be held depending on the season or festival.

When you're at the station, be sure to stop by this spot for food or shopping.
