This peaceful grove sits at the back of the temple, blending seamlessly with the temple grounds, where thousands of stone Buddha statues are dedicated to the souls of those who passed away without families to remember them.

Unlike the bustling Sagano Bamboo Grove, Adashino Nenbutsu-ji’s bamboo grove is more secluded, allowing for quiet contemplation among the towering bamboo and moss-covered stones.
