Traveling from the bustling city of Osaka to Kyoto feels like shifting gears — from fast-paced suits and schedules to a calm, slower local rhythm. Many shops even close before 7 PM, adding to the peaceful vibe 🌙
🚌 Kyoto buses are convenient, but during peak tourist season, they can get very crowded. Luckily, once you’re off the bus, most attractions are within walking distance.
1️⃣ Ninenzaka & Sannenzaka — These historic streets are full of charm and character, kind of like Beijing’s Nanluoguxiang. You’ll find traditional wooden buildings, souvenir shops, snack stalls, and lots of adorable trinkets — perfect for slow strolling and impulse buys 🏮🍡
2️⃣ Kiyomizu-dera — A must-visit for Conan fans and lovers of traditional architecture. The temple is beautifully intricate, and every angle makes for a great photo. Many visitors rent kimonos and get their hair styled nearby for the full Kyoto experience — definitely worth trying if you have time 🎐🎎
