Mikami Shrine is another shrine in Kyoto that I find super interesting. It’s the one and only shrine that dedicated to hairdressing and beauty! How unique is that! This shrine worship the very dedicated and historical figure Fujiwara Unemenosuke Masayuki. He spent most of his life in the hairdressing industry and served the government. There are many souvenirs that are related to hairdressing can be found here! No entry fee needed and we heard from the guide that you could toss a coin, clap 👏 and ring the bell to make a wish.
