Langfang One-Day Tour (Longfu Temple, Shuiyunjian Commercial Street)

It truly is a hidden gem city | Langfang
So close and so beautiful, spend the weekend in Hebei, Langfang Longfu Temple, and Shuiyunjian Commercial Street for free check-ins.
Langfang Longfu Temple is free to visit, no reservation needed. (Opening hours: Summer 5:00~18:00, Winter 5:30~17:00)
Enter from the east gate, the first building in the southeast direction is 'Hesu Zhai'. This is a highly recommended place for food lovers, open from 10:30~14:30. A bowl of vegetarian noodles costs 15 yuan, small dishes are 5 yuan and 10 yuan per serving, and there are delicious steamed buns. Drinks are priced the same as in supermarkets, making it very economical and affordable, and the taste is excellent. (The indoor area is very clean, with an inner hall for dining and enjoying the scenery)
The westernmost building is the tea room. Opening hours are 8:00~17:00. There are many snacks, and the prices are very cheap! Tea drinks are 2 yuan, tea snacks are 8 yuan, fruit salads are 8 yuan, vegetarian burgers are 8 yuan, fruit tea is 5 yuan, sago soup is 5 yuan, dumplings are 12~16 yuan, etc. (Mainly recommend the tea drinks which are cheap and delicious, with three flavors to choose from and unlimited refills. There are also Longfu Temple's own mooncakes, 5 yuan each, and the pastries are also super delicious.)
To the east of the tea room, which is the main entrance of Longfu Temple, there are rice cakes for sale, freshly made, 10 yuan per bag. They are also sold individually for 1 yuan each. The ingredients are rice, sesame, dates, raisins, and water, and they taste great. I ate two in one go. Many people buy these, and there is often a queue.
Moving forward, you will find the mountain gate of Longfu Temple, the Hall of Heavenly Kings, the Mahavira Hall, and the scripture copying dojo. Note that children are not allowed to enter the dojo, but other areas are open for visiting. I personally suggest paying attention to your attire when visiting sacred places.
After touring Longfu Temple and tasting the delicious food, you can go directly to Shuiyunjian Commercial Street. This is definitely a great place for photo check-ins, and the night view is also very impressive. It has the feel of a southern water town, which is rare in the north, and it is basically a street full of snacks. However, the prices here are generally higher. I have taken some photos of Shuiyunjian, see if the scenery is super beautiful. I personally recommend going after six or seven in the evening when the scenery is better and various snacks start to be available.
Next to Shuiyunjian is the very popular Dream of the Red Chamber Drama Fantasy City in recent years. If you are an out-of-town visitor, I suggest you stay overnight and buy tickets to experience the immersive scenic performances the next day. I have specially made a travel guide for the Dream of the Red Chamber Drama Fantasy City, which you can refer to.
