Qingdao's Mountain by the Sea

Location: Laoshan mountain in Qingdao, Shandong province.

This is one of the best mountain resorts in China. It's big and beautiful and offers spectacular sea views from the top.

The best thing is that you can climb or take the cable car up and down. The choice is yours. It takes a whole day trip but it also adds to the enjoyment of a Qingdao holiday.

Note: Laoshan mountain is not too far from Shi Lao Ren beach; a beautiful stretch of sand and sea that can be combined with a visit to Lao Shan mountain.
