📌 Tips:
1️⃣ Hotel VIP access is open until 16:30; if you return late, you can take the hotel shuttle from the East Gate of the scenic area
2️⃣ Shuttle pick-up is at the Xiaoqikong East Gate "Yuelan Su" entrance
3️⃣ Summer is busy; if you’re a special forces type, enter after 3 PM and you can still enjoy the area until 7 or 8 PM with some people around
4️⃣ Water lovers must not miss the Water Forest and Cuigu Waterfall; if you want to boat on Yuanyang Lake, be sure to arrive before 6 PM
5️⃣ Xiaoqikong and Daqikong scenic areas are combined; tickets are valid for 5 days, and the scenic shuttle costs 50 RMB per person (must buy, the area is really large and covers 2 days)
6️⃣ If your schedule is tight, just visit Xiaoqikong; after Xiaoqikong, Daqikong feels quite ordinary
7️⃣ Libo Station to the hotel/Xiaoqikong East Gate is actually very close, about 10 minutes without traffic; summer traffic jams can take 50 minutes… To avoid traffic, take the old road, which is only about 3 km longer and bypasses the congestion. Note that navigation apps won’t suggest this route…
